This superb waterfront retreat for rent on a beautiful private lake has 2 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 people. The retreat is approximately 60 minutes (77 km's) drive from downtown Ottawa (Ladysmith area).
The property has a large gallery with a spectacular view, also includes a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, toaster, microwave oven, and washer and dryer. (No TV, but many board games and memories to create!)
The cottage also has a hammock, a large flat playground area, and an outdoor fire pit with an abundant supply of firewood.
The sparkling clean lake offers excellent swimming, fishing and kayaking. There are 5 kayaks and a canoe also included in this price. The bottom of the lake is hard and sandy, with a gradual slope entry in the water. There is a dock for your own boat.
You will find a convinience store and the Ladysmith Hotel restaurant at only one kilometer from our site.
Within a 20 minute drive is the village of Shawville, where you'll find a large grocery stores, liquor store, etc.
